Zuzanna was born and raised in the small town of Srem, Poland—and since a very young age, she exhibited the spirit of an adventurer and global explorer. She was a professional athlete for five years in her hometown before she signed a contract with Wilhelmina Models in New York City, which marked the beginning of an international modeling career that would pull her out of Srem and allow her to travel the world for the next 14 years.
The eye-opening excursions to some of the most interesting places in the world (Hong Kong, South Africa, Japan, Thailand, Laos, Romania, Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, amongst many more) led Zuzanna to develop a special interest in health, spirituality, environment conservation and socio-economic issues, which inspired her to spend time volunteering in the US and Europe for Child Solutions and Fundacja Familia, non-profit organizations focused on helping children and alleviating poverty.
After allowing her to live in four continents, Zuzanna’s modeling career eventually brought her to New York City, where she continued her education in Art History and Media Studies, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College. Simultaneously to completing her degree, Zuzanna dove into the world of art dealing, creative direction, and production. In addition to her work in art and fashion, in March 2015 she started Tisane- a company that introduced the US to a premiere beauty line, previously exclusively available only in Zuzanna's native Poland.
Although she lists Brooklyn as her current home base, Zuzanna is a nomad at heart who feels the happiest on a plane to an undiscovered destination. She finds inspiration in art, architecture, travel, nature, and people. She is constantly training her sense of aesthetics and working on further developing her creative skills, and always looking for new ways to use her ideas and entrepreneurship to inspire a positive socio-economic change.
In early 2016, Zuzanna became an advocate for change in the field of eating disorders in the fashion industry.
